Game Plan: January 22-26

My game plan for this week is to get several assignments done. First I would like finish posting my Bokeh effect pictures so that I can be finished with that assingment. Second I would like to get my questions written down and posted for the guest speaker coming on Wednesday because that is something easy and quick that I can get done. I also would like to post the answers to the questions about my three painting choices for my recreation photos because I am a little behind on that so I would like to get that done so I can start taking the pictures. And lastly, I have already set up a date to do my portraits shoot for monday february 5, but since that is close to the end of the due date, I have scheduled a day to go shoot them on Wednesday if the speaker does not show up. Hopefully I can count on getting those done this week, but if not, my week will still have been productive.

Game Plan: January 15-19

Since this week I don't have much time to work on anything in class and this weekend I will be away at a camp (where I can't bring my camera) I plan to find a model for my painting recreation photos and think of what to do for my funny portraits shoot.

Game Plan: January 8-12

This week I plan to get done with scheduling my portrait shoot in the studio so that I don't have to wait until it's too late to get that done. Also I plan to find a painting to use for my painting recreation pictures.

Game Plan: January 3-5

This week I plan to get done my files formats assignments because that is something easy that I can do in class and something that I can get out of the way quickly so I don't have to do it later. Then over the weekend I plan to get my free shoot done because I'm going to a bridal shower on Saturday which should be an easy event to take pictures of and it already has a theme.

File Formats

What are three advantages of a RAW file: Shooting in RAW will give you more control and allow you to fix things like the exposure, the white balance is easier to fix, and the ability to correct the richness, sharpness, and color range is greater in RAW than JPEG. What is one disadvantage of a RAW file:  RAW file is less sharp. What are three advantages of a JPEG file:  Shooting in JPEG will allow you to capture 2 or 3 more times the number that you could shoot in RAW, shooting in JPEG is easier to share your photos quick and easily, and if your camera has continuous shooting you will be able to take more shots using JPEG than RAW. What is one disadvantage of a JPEG file:  Some color can be lost, as well as the resolution. 1. Under the first heading "Capturing the Images," how much of the data does a RAW file retain after it is captured by the camera?  It captures all the data and retains all the information without compressing it. 2. Under the second heading
