Website Review

The website that I chose and liked the most was Photojojo. The intention of this website is to show different trends in photography. It informs you about how to take photographs, what photos to take, and where to post these photos. This website is mainly for the youth group of people who may be familiar to a more modern style of photography and also to people who might have been taking photos for quite some time and are interested in suggestions to improve their photographs. The website author writes about techniques that you can use for capturing different types of photographs such as taking selfies without the blur by using the Photojojo Shutter Remote. It also talks about advise on taking the picture like when you are taking photos of people kissing, don't be afraid to give direction, though it may be awkward. An average viewer can get a lot of things and useful tips out of this website because in this website the author understands that not everyone is good at photography so th

Self Portrait vs The Selfie

  A selfie is a picture, usually taken on a smart phone or a web cam, that you have taken by yourself and is of yourself. Selfies are either taken at an arms length away or in the mirror. These images usually appear on different types of social media. A selfie of course, is different than a self portrait.    A self portrait is either a photograph taken of an artist by him/herself or a portrait created by that artist. Though these two things may seem similar, they have quite a few differences. For example, selfies are usually taken on a device such as a phone with a camera that is typically taken close to you or taken while standing in front of a mirror. A self portrait is either made using a picture, reflection, or even from memory as a guide.
