I like this photo because it is so simple but it captures so much and it is very pretty. I picked this photo because I think that the color of the red background really makes the man stand out in the picture.


I like this photo because the action in the background with the sparks flying make the photo much more interesting than just a plain old picture. I picked this picture because it shows you something that you typically wouldn't see every day and so it grabbed my attention.

Photography Self Portrait:


I like this photo because I think this image is very beautiful in a simple way. I picked this photo because I like how creative it is and I like the intense expression on the girl's face.




I like this photo because I like how the camera that the man is holding up kind of represents a gun. I picked this photo because I feel like you can tell that he has a lot of passion for photography but at the same time it is kind of a mystery of what this photo is supposed to symbolize.

Casual Portrait:


I like this picture because of the colors in this picture. I picked this photo because I like how the suns rays is shown through out the picture and the girl really stands out.



I like this picture because the sun also is shown in the picture and I think it makes the picture look cool. I picked this photo because I think that the blurred background really makes the girl stand out.


For my portrait assignment, I want to take pictures of people in high school. I will shoot at places like school or outside of school activities, like at the mall. I will use all some of the tips that we learned to make my shoot successful and creative.

1.  I had used iMovie once before a while back for a project, although I was doing most of the action while my partner was doing most of the editing, therefore I am not completely familiar with iMovie but I have had experience with it before. With that said a lot of stuff on her was not new to me but just refreshing my memory. On both of these websites it talked about what kind of things can be created with iMovie, how it's used, and what features it has.      On one of the websites it often showed you images so that it was was easier to understand what the author was talking about. Student of the Month Story

Who- Ava Nielsen What- Student of the month Where- Bowie High school When- 2017 Why- Best student How- Good grades and behavior       Ava Nielsen is greatly honored to have received her "Student of the Month" Award for being the best student this month. This award is given out to Bowie students only and Ava is so happy to be the award winner for this month. She received the award by getting good grades and having good behavior.      This award was given to Ava on March 29th while she was in her 1st period class. She was given this award because the staff at Bowie all agreed that she was the best student for this month. Classmates congratulated her saying that she had deserved this award and that they were proud of her for being the set student this month at Bowie.
